Log Entry: September 3rd, 2018

It's now time for the first (and probably last) AMA Extravaganza! Special thanks to those who emailed in your questions, I wish I could've answered every question but I hope what answers I did provide would be good enough. Now let's begin.

Q: How did you discover neocities?
A: I first discovered neocities through the likes of Human Raccoon, I found her website quite fascinating with all the interesting things she had to tell which kinda made me realize, "maybe I should make my own webpage so people can read about my weird bullshit." Lo and behold, here we are now.

Q: Where do you get the ideas for the archive and how are you able to keep your writing so interesting even for the more silly and ordinary entries?
A: Life really works itself in strange ways. The ideas I get for the archives are primarily based off of events I experienced, my brain could just remind me of something absolutely fucking stupid that happened years ago and I make sure to write it down before it gets lost again.

Q: You like nekojiru! How did you find out about her? What do you like the most about nekojiru's works?
A: I was hoping somebody would ask me this question. I first found out about Nekojiru (the artist) when somebody on tumblr reblogged a translated page of JiruJiru Nikki. I think what I like the most about Nekojiru's is how they always draw these cute cats in the most fucked up and morally gray situations, as well as their views on life which I heavily relate too. It's too bad you can barely find any translated stuff online :'D

Q: Have you visited other countries? If not, which ones would you like to visit?
A: I had the chance to travel in Poland back in 2008 because I have family who live there. Although I was a huge asshole and couldn't care less at the time, but I would love to go back there now that I have a better sense of appreciation.

Q: What is your favoritEST place in the world?
A: San Francisco. I went there last summer, yeah it might've been a dirty crowded island but I absolutely loved the place.

Q: Do you keep a journal?
A: I have a dream journal if that counts. But I haven't really written any new entries in there as of late

Q: What's your favorite Grimes song?
A: This one is kinda hard to answer because there's so many songs she's made that I love. But my favorite is tied between Oblivion and the demo version of Realiti.

Q: What was the first videogame you ever played?
A: Polly Pockect: Super Splash Island for the Gameboy Advance. (This might get an archive entry real soon, so keep an eye out for that)

Q: What's your favorite candy?
A: I like a lot of fruit gummy candies such as Mike & Ikes, Swedish Fish, and Haribo gummies. I also like Necco Wafers because I'm a fucking heathen.

Q: What do you like about Ye Olde Internet?
A: What I like the most about the early net is that it felt more like a community than a corporation, there was an endless amount of Geocities and Angelfire sites out there on the internet all ran by some very passionate people. Something that's rarely found nowadays.

Q: What are your own personal memories of using it as a child? What's the earliest memory related to the internet you have? What do you consider to be the best time period online (that you personally experienced).
A: My fondest internet memories are playing all the old shockwave games on Cartoon Network and Nickelodeon's websites, going on Neopets and Club Penguin and all the other virtual pet websites every kid played in the 2000s. My earliest internet memory was watching my sister play Neopets and asking her to make a new pet for me. And I think 2004-2006 to me was when the internet peaked.

Q: What are your thoughts on mayonnaise?
A: Gross.

Well, that's all the questions and I hoped that gave you a good idea as to who I am. If not, then sorry about that, guess you're just gonna have to use your imagination to fill in the blanks.
